These businesses continue to grow, generating profits, and employing a vast number of people interested in these exciting careers. The Hospitality and Tourism course is designed to give students an overview of this exciting field as well as future educational and career options. The Hospitality and Tourism course focuses on the real-world business perspective by using examples to illustrate features, concepts, and activities. The six units encourage and educate students about a possible career in the exciting world of hospitality and tourism. Topics covered include the hotel and tourism business, sports and entertainment marketing, and the economic impact of tourism-related companies have on the local economy.
